Ros Johnson, born in 1952, has been a clinical social worker in full-time private practice since 1988. Previously she held various social work/therapist positions in such
settings as child and family services and community mental health; she also moderated a sexual abuse prevention play that toured Rhode Island schools. Minding Therapy, her novel, incorporates her
interests in both humor and social/psychological issues. Ros is currently working on adapting her book for film.
A native of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Ros lives in Rhode Island with her partner
of 25 years, Linda, also a therapist. No, Ros is not Daryl.
