The recommended length for both fiction and nonfiction ebook manuscripts is 30,000 to 200,000 words. We do not accept material on speculation. Potential authors must

Query letters should be sent via our online Book Info Form and should include the following information: pen name (if applicable), title of the manuscript, category/genre/sub-genre (for fiction) or subject (for nonfiction) of your book, word count, and a brief description about your storyline/subject matter. Please let us know whether the title you are submitting for our consideration is a simultaneous book submission. We will consider simultaneous submissions, however we will need to know to which other publishers the work has been (or will be) submitted.
If we are interested in reading your manuscript, we will request you send the completed manuscript (in MS Word or RTF format) as an email attachment. We may also require that a two-
to five-page synopsis describing your story or nonfiction book be included. Please notify us if you are not familiar with sending email attachments, so we may provide assistance. Your fiction
synopsis should include the conflict and resolution of the story, a description of the main characters, and a summary showing the beginning, middle and end of your story. For nonfiction works, we will
require a chapter-by-chapter outline instead of a synopsis, as well as the first chapter of the manuscript. We will also request a brief paragraph detailing your qualifications/experiences for writing on

We will notify you by email if we are interested in reading the complete manuscript. Please note that due to current submission rates, it may take between three and six months before we
can respond to your query. We prefer to receive manuscripts electronically via email, but will accept submissions through snail mail. Please let us know in advance if you need to make such
arrangements.
ArtemisPress is not interested in publishing works that contain incest, bestiality, fetish sex, underage sex, and/or gratuitous violence. We also will not accept any work for publication
that has been previously posted for public viewing on mailing lists, newsgroups or websites of any kind.
